Orange Eyewear 'gets groovy' with retro styles from Vulkan

The latest editions to the Vulkan designer range are proving to be a real hit with UK-wide independent opticians within months of being launched by frames specialist, Orange Eyewear.

The collection features a range of geek chic and wearable retro styles, together with an eye-catching variety of textures, colours, details, styles and shapes. Available exclusively to independent opticians, the Vulkan range offers up-to-the-minute designer looks at a more affordable price-point.  Eye shapes are fashion-forward, with varying degrees of definition; Vulkan’s design and colour schemes achieve the elusive holy grail of being highly individual, while retaining face-flattering wearability. This striking range experiments playfully with stylish side detail and bold rainbow colours.

The range of styles includes model V791 [sizes: 42x17, 44x17 and 47x17], which features a full-rim squoval eye-shape to create a bold 1970s-style look. Understated black sides are finished with subtle circle stud detailing, which is combined with a contrasting lined acetate back drop to compliment the colour of the frame. This high-fashion model is available in children’s and petite adult’s sizes and comes in four distinctive colour-ways: black, black with raspberry, black with lime and black with turquoise.
Another popular addition to the collection is the stylish model V794 [sizes: 46x18 and 49x18]. With its flattering retro-look the frame is available in both supra and full-rim designs. With engraved line side-detailing – in a contrasting colour to the stainless steel frame – this style is firmly on-trend.  The frame comes in two different sizes and three contemporary, wearable colour-ways, including brown, violet and black.

Hanna Nussbaum, managing director of Orange Eyewear, said: “We believe that a designer look doesn’t necessarily need to carry a designer price-tag.  We’re constantly updating the Vulkan range with new models that are fashionable, while also complimenting the wearer’s face-shape.”
